Jody diPerna is a notoriously witty and irreverent sports fanatic, who writes, lives, and drinks in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Dorothy Parker of sports writers, diPerna is a little arch, a little dark, and a little tipsy. In addition to her obsessive devotion to the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, her other interests include critiquing professional sports uniforms, opera, and sleeping.
